Carl Cox returns to [UNVRS] every Sunday in 2026, opening on 21 June and closing on 4 October. Both are all-night sets, no support. It is his second season at the venue and, in a way that is hard to miss, a homecoming to the part of the island where he spent fifteen years building the most durable residency in Ibiza’s history.

The season is built around back-to-back sets. Cox goes b2b with Joseph Capriati, David Guetta, The Martinez Brothers, Chris Stussy, Louie Vega, Dennis Cruz, Nicole Moudaber and WhoMadeWho across the summer. Also booked: Richie Hawtin, Skepta, Honey Dijon, Luciano, Vintage Culture, DJ Tennis, Loco Dice, and Sasha & John Digweed.
The bookends are the ones to plan around. An all-night Carl Cox set is a different proposition to a two-hour peak-time slot. He uses the room’s first two hours to go somewhere most headline sets never have time to reach.
Fifteen years at Space
Cox held a residency at Space from 2001 until 2016, latterly under the name Music Is Revolution. It started on the terrace and moved inside, and it ran for fifteen consecutive seasons, a length of tenure that simply does not happen any more, and arguably could not.
It closed in summer 2016 with a series billed as The Final Chapter, ending with a ten-hour set as Space itself shut its doors. For most of a generation of clubbers, that residency was Ibiza techno.

Who he is
Carl Andrew Cox, born 29 July 1962 in Carshalton, south London, and resident in Brighton since his late teens. He was DJ Mag’s number one DJ in 1997 and a global resident on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix in 1998–99. He is widely credited with popularising three-deck mixing, which in the pre-digital era was less a flourish than a structural change in what a DJ could do live.
He founded Intec Records in the late nineties, relaunching it as Intec Digital in 2010, and co-founded Awesome Soundwave with Christopher Coe in 2018, a label built specifically around artists who perform electronic music live rather than DJ it. That distinction matters to him more than it does to most people at his level of the bill.
